UF experts featured in TBI Virtual Town Hall

On Thursday, March 17, UF HealthStreet hosted an Our Community, Our Health (OCOH) National Town Hall focused on traumatic brain injury, featuring University of Florida experts, Russell Bauer, Ph.D., a professor in the department of clinical & health psychology and neurology; Carolyn Geis, M.D., an assistant professor in the department of orthopaedics and rehabilitation; and Michael Jaffee, M.D., vice chair of neurology and director of the Trauma, Concussion and Sports Neuromedicine Program. Joseph T. Giacino, Ph.D. a professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School, also joined the panel.

During the town hall, which was delivered via a livestream format, researchers discussed new progress in traumatic brain injury research, clinical interventions and innovative collaboration within the discipline.
